Disposal and recycling

When purchasing our Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) on SANUSSTORE, please always take into consideration the provisions of the law on the disposal and recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) pursuant to Art. 26 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March 2014 "Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)" and Italian Legislative Decree No. 188 of 20 November 2008.

All electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) placed on the market must be marked with this symbol to indicate that they are covered by the WEEE Directive, the provisions of which require that producers of EEE are required to pay for the collection, treatment and recycling of EEE. Below you will find all the information you need to dispose of your old EEE following the purchase of a new equivalent type of EEE sold and shipped by SANUSLIFE INTERNATIONAL. Remember that batteries/accumulators must be removed from their appliances before they are disposed of as waste. For information on how to remove batteries/accumulators, simply contact SANUSLIFE INTERNATIONAL at: service@sanuslife.net

The user must, therefore, dispose of the equipment and its batteries at the end of their service life free of charge at the appropriate (municipal) centers for the separate collection of electrical and electronic waste, or deliver them to the original retailer according to the following procedures:

- both portable batteries and small equipment, i.e. with at least one external side not exceeding 25 cm, can be delivered free of charge, without obligation of purchase, at shops with an area for the sale of electrical and electronic equipment exceeding 400 square meters. For smaller shops, this possibility is optional.

- For equipment with dimensions greater than 25 cm, delivery to all points of sale is foreseen in a 1:1 ratio, i.e. delivery to the retailer can only take place at the time of purchase of a new, equivalent product, on a one-to-one basis.

Appropriate separate collection of equipment and discarded batteries/ accumulators for their subsequent recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal helps to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and on health and promotes the reuse and/or recycling of the materials they are made of. Illegal disposal of equipment, batteries and accumulators by users entails the application of the sanctions provided for in current legislation.

SANUSLIFE INTERNATIONAL has chosen to join the ERP ITALIA Consortium, a major Compliance Scheme that guarantees consumers the correct treatment and recovery of WEEE and the promotion of policies aimed at environmental protection. The collection service is organized by a dedicated service, within approximately 15 working days from date of the request. With regard to the sales packaging that we introduced for the first time in the German market, containing goods and delivered to private end-consumers, our company has joined the Landbell AG (Mainz, Germany) nationwide scheme in order to ensure compliance with our statutory obligations, in accordance with Article 7 of the German Packaging Law.
